Bogotá, Colombia, is preparing to welcome the finest wheelchair basketball teams from across the Americas in August, as the city takes center stage for the prestigious 2025 IWBF Americas Cup. Starting August 9 for women and August 15 for men, eight top national teams will go head-to-head. In the women’s competition, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, El Salvador, the U.S., and Canada will vie for two direct spots in Ottawa. The men’s tournament features Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the U.S., Venezuela, and Canada, with three direct qualification slots at stake.
